Part III of Behind the Scenes of xaitControl 3.0



With the xaitControl debugger, you can set breakpoints, which will help you determine exactly where the problems in your game are occurring. In the first screenshot below, you can see just how easy it is to set these breakpoints. 

 

The debugger’s History Browser is featured in the second screenshot below. Here you can see the path taken by the NPC, which the debugger highlights for you in yellow. This also shows you the NPC’s current location. Looking at the History Browser will also show you a step-by-step description of the path the NPC took between Start and the set breakpoint.

 

Making live changes to your game is easy with the xaitControl debugger. In the last screenshot below, you can see live variable changes being made in the Variable Browser.  All defined variables are shown here and can be altered and updated live.
