xaitment is looking for an experienced sales professional to join our young, enthusiastic and growing sales team The position will be focused on selling to computer games developers and publishers in the Korean video game industry. The position is based the Seoul (home office) area and will involve traveling to visit prospective clients and attend industry events. The position will play a key role in driving revenue in the region, but will also be providing customer feedback to product development and other departments.

Compensation will include a competitive base salary with a strong commission plan for sales achieved.

The ideal candidate will be an assertive sales professional with a track record of exceeding sales quotas and also have a passion for video games. Please indicate in your cover letter what types of games you play and how often.

Experience/Skillset

  • Must be fluent in both Korean and English
  • Five to ten years sales experience and as a Regional Sales Manager (Field Representative)
  • Experience in prospecting, qualifying and closing five to six figure software licensing deals
  • Highly motivated individual with a track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Contract negotiating experience would be beneficial, but not necessary
  • Experience selling to technical clients; we work with game designers and engineers
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the Seoul region
  • Nice to have: Network of contacts with in the video game developing and publishing industry

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Selling xaitment’s line of products and services
  • Traveling to prospective clients presenting and demonstrating with the help of our Application Engineers (Sales Engineers)
  • Attending conferences, trade shows and other industry events
    Establishing good relationships with clients at all levels of the decision making process (technical, managerial, financial)
  • Ability to identify market trends and provide analysis to management
  • Prospecting, qualifying and managing the overall sales pipeline from lead generation to closing
  • Working as a team with a dedicated Application Engineer (Sales Engineer)
